According to RBI guidelines, banks operating in the country are closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month except Sundays, with some additional holidays in March and some regional festivals. Banks will have holidays in some states of the country on these festivals.

March 5:Chapchar Kut is falling on 5 March. On this day, all banks in Aizawl (Aizawl – the capital of Mizoram) will remain closed.

March 11: On March 11, there is Mahashivratri. On this day, operations in banks will be closed in many states of the country.
March 13: Due to being the second Saturday of the month, there will be a holiday.

March 14: Due to Sunday, banks will have a weekly holiday.

March 15: On Monday, March 15, some bank unions have announced a strike.

March 21: Due to Sunday, banks will have a weekly holiday.

March 22 : March 22 is Bihar Day. In such a situation, banks will remain closed for 2 consecutive days in the state of Bihar.

March 27:Banks will be closed across the country due to the fourth Saturday on March 27.

March 28: March 28 is Sunday. Therefore, banks will be closed for 4 consecutive days in some states of the country.

March 29 and 30: Banks will have a holiday due to the festival of Holi on 29 and 30 March.
