- 3 September 2023- Due to Sunday, banks will remain closed in the entire country on this day.
- 6 September 2023- Banks will remain closed in Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Hyderabad, Patna due to Krishna Janmashtami.
- 7 September 2023- Due to Krishna Janmashtami, banks will remain closed in Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Gangtok, Telangana, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Lucknow, Raipur, Ranchi, Shillong, Shimla and Srinagar.
- 9 September 2023- Banks will remain closed across the country due to second Saturday.
- 10 September 2023- Banks will remain closed across the country due to Sunday.
- 17 September 2023- Banks will remain closed across the country due to Sunday.
- 18 September 2023- Banks will remain closed in Bengaluru and Telangana due to Vinayak Chaturthi.
- 19 September 2023- Banks will remain closed in Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bhubaneswar, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji due to Ganesh Chaturthi
- 20 September 2023- Banks will remain closed in Kochi and Bhubaneswar due to Ganesh Chaturthi and Nuakhai.
- 22 September 2023- Banks will remain closed in Kochi, Panaji and Trivandrum due to Narayana Guru Samadhi Day.
- 23 September 2023- Banks will remain closed across the country due to the fourth Saturday.
- 24 September 2023- Banks will be closed all over the country due to Sunday
- 25 September 2023- There will be a bank holiday in Guwahati due to the birth anniversary of Srimanta Sankardev.
- 27 September 2023- Banks will remain closed in Jammu, Kochi, Srinagar and Trivandrum due to Milad-e-Sharif.
- 28 September 2023- Banks will remain closed in Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Belapur, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chennai, Dehradun, Telangana, Imphal, Kanpur, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Raipur, Ranchi due to Eid-e-Milad
- 29 September 2023- Banks will remain closed on Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, Gangtok, Jammu and Srinagar.
