Holiday list for the year 2023 released
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the list of banking holidays for the new year 2023. In the month of January, there will be a total holiday of 14 days including the weekly holiday of Bank Sunday and the holiday of second and fourth Saturday. However, these Bank Holidays will be according to the festivals and events held in different states. However, you can easily handle your work or transactions using internet banking during these bank holidays.

Weekly holiday on these dates
The first holiday is falling on New Year 1 January 2023 i.e. Sunday. Apart from this, 8 January, 15 January, 22 January and 29 January are also Sundays, due to which all the banks of the country will remain closed. On the other hand, the second Saturday is falling on January 14 and the fourth Saturday is on January 28. Along with this, banks will not open on many festivals including 26 January Republic Day.
