RBI announces bank holiday for 2021
All government, private, foreign and cooperative banks have to consider the holidays issued by RBI. These holidays include the second and fourth Saturdays of the month along with holidays in different states. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the Bank Holiday 2020 calendar for the year 2020. According to the RBI website, holidays have been fixed in this way according to many states. The bank may be open in your state and closed in another state.
There will be no problem of cash
You must note that during the holidays of banks, the most shortage is in withdrawing cash from ATMs. In many places, due to the closure of the bank, cash does not reach the ATM and the ATM is empty. In such a situation, you keep the cash according to your requirement or do the rest of the work through online transactions only. However, some banks have introduced the service of mobile ATM vans, which will solve the cash problem. Note: You can see the holiday list on the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) website. Also, let us tell you that the holidays in the bank vary from state to state. Except in states where there are local holidays, banking will be normal in other states.
