Bank Holidays May 2024: Bank holidays are going to be held in most of the states of the country on Thursday. The festival of Guru Purnima is celebrated across the country, due to which banks will not function. Banks will not be closed simultaneously in all the states in which RBI has issued a holiday. Banks are going to remain closed only in those states

Bank Holidays May 2024: Bank holidays are going to be held in most of the states of the country on Thursday. The festival of Guru Purnima is celebrated across the country, due to which banks will not function. Banks will not be closed simultaneously in all the states in which RBI has issued a holiday. Banks are going to remain closed only in those states. This week there will be bank holidays on 23rd May, 25th May and 26th May. However, during this period, you can do your bank related work through digital banking, mobile, ATM and internet.

List of states where banks will remain closed on Thursday

All banks in the states of Agartala, Aizawl, Belapur, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Itanagar, Jammu, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Raipur, Ranchi, Shimla, Srinagar will remain closed on the occasion of Buddha Purnima holiday.
