Post Office Account Mobile Number Update: Indian Post Office has issued an alert to its account holders. Through this alert, account holders have been advised to update their mobile as soon as possible.
If you do not complete this work as soon as possible, then you may have to bear heavy losses later. Sharing information about this on its official Twitter handle, the Indian Post Office has told that from April 1, it is necessary to link your post office account with mobile number.
In case of failure to do so, you will not be able to complete any financial transaction. To link your post office account with mobile number, first download the IPPB Mobile Banking app by visiting Google Play Store.
Open the mobile application and go to Service Request. Here three options will appear from which choose the mobile number. Then enter your number here. After this choose the account with which you want to link your mobile.
After this OTP will come on that mobile number which you enter here. After that click on the Submit button. After this, click on Account Service and click on your mobile number and email ID. Then OTP will come once again, enter it here.
After that click on Submit. Then before changing the number, select the Fingerprint option for your biometric information.
After verification, the mobile number linked to the account will be changed. You will get its message on mobile.
