SBI Bank Locker Rules: There is important news for the customers of State Bank of India. If you also have a locker in the bank, then you have to complete the necessary work before 30 September. Banks have to implement the amendment in the rules regarding bank lockers by 30 September. The bank has asked the customers to update their bank locker agreement. For new agreement, locker holders will have to show eligibility for new locker agreement by 30 September and will have to enter into an agreement for renewal.
What are the customers to do?
The bank has revised the bank locker contract, in which the rights of the locker holder have been included, it requires the signature of the customer. For this the bank customer will have to go to the bank and sign an agreement. SBI says that “The Bank has issued Revised/Supplementary Locker Agreement incorporating the rights of the customers. Customers availing locker facility with SBI are requested to approach the branch where the locker is located and get the revised/supplementary agreement.” Make changes accordingly.”
What are the charges? (SBI Bank Locker Charges)
SBI customers have to pay some charges for bank locker facility.
- Rs 2,000 plus GST for small lockers and Rs 4,000 plus GST for medium size lockers in metro cities and other urban areas.
- 8,000 plus GST for large lockers in metro cities and other urban areas. Rs 12,000 plus GST for the largest size locker.
- Rs 1,500 plus GST for small locker in small towns and rural areas and Rs 3,000 plus GST for medium size
- Rs 6,000 plus GST for large locker in small towns and rural areas. Rs 9,000 GST charge for the largest size locker.
