Bank Scam Alert : Beware! Warning for HDFC account holder, otherwise one click and bank balance will be zero

HDFC Bank Frauds Complaints: One click of your phone can put you in big trouble. This news is especially for the account holders of HDFC Bank. These days a kind of problem is being seen with them.

Bank Scam Alert: With the increasing reach of the Internet, the world is rapidly shifting towards the digital world. Now more and more people are doing work sitting at home. From ordering food to ordering medicine, many things are being done on your one click. On one click, you make so many payments while sitting and on one click your desired dress reaches your home, but this one click can put you in big trouble. This news is especially for the account holders of HDFC Bank.

What’s the problem?

As we know that the speed with which the world is becoming digital. Fraudsters are also getting advanced at the same speed. Recently, a complaint has been received from the account holders of HDFC Bank. First of all, a message comes on their phone in which the account holders are asked to update their KYC and PAN or a link is given in the same message which is asked to update the PAN and as soon as you click, your Bank balance becomes zero.

What happens then?

As soon as you click on the link in the given message, the hacker gets access to your phone and uses your phone as per his wish. The message that the HDFC Bank holder is getting is something like this “Dear customer your HDFC account will be hold today please update your KYC immediately click here”.

What happens next step?

When a social media user asked the bank a question by tweeting, the bank replied that no such message is being sent by the bank. If anyone receives such a message, do not click on it even by mistake.

How to avoid this fraud?

To avoid this type of fraud, always keep in mind that never give your ATM PIN, CVV number and any account related information to any other person. While creating UPI password, always keep it strong. If you see a fraud message, then immediately call the bank branch. Let us tell you that the bank never asks you for your CVV number, PIN, password and OTP by messaging.
