Bank Holidays: From today i.e. from September 8, there will be no work in banks for 5 consecutive days. But let us tell you that these holidays are in different cities.


New Delhi. If you also have any important work related to the bank, then let us tell you that from today i.e. from September 8, there will be no work in the banks for 5 consecutive days. But these holidays are in different cities of the country. In such a situation, before going to the bank, it is important to know on which dates the bank holidays (Bank Holidays in September 2021) i.e. banks will be closed.

There are some holidays in the list of holidays which are effective at the local state level only. This holiday will not remain in all the states because some festivals or festivals are not celebrated simultaneously in the whole country.


Let us tell you in which cities banks will not work in the coming 5 days.

Banks will be closed for 5 days in these cities (Bank holidays in September 2021)

>> 8 September Srimanta Sankardeva date Guwahati Bank closed
>> 9 September Haritalika Teej Bank closed in Gangtok Second Saturday of the month
>> 10 September Ganesh Chaturthi Hamdabad, Belapur, Banks will remain closed in Bengaluru, Bhubaneshwar, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Nagpur and Panaji
>> Second Saturday of 11th September
>> 12th September all state banks will remain closed due to Sunday

Different rules for all states According to the list of holidays given on RBI’s website (Bank Holidays List September 2021), banks will be closed for a total of 12 days in September. This also includes weekly holidays. Let us know that a list of holidays has been given on the RBI website.
