IRCTC has given this information while responding to a complaint through its Twitter handle.

Complaining on the Twitter handle of IRCTC by a user, it has been written that, “I have received a call from +918350050562 on this number, claiming to be an IRCTC official on behalf of the caller and on his behalf. I found this link https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScYIy1xxgDODOYe-qWYRy-AeOv0CwbLrqNV0SHCZroAXHN8yQ/viewform

was sent so that my money could be refunded in respect of the complaint made by me. I see something wrong in this, please take cognizance of the matter.”

In response to this complaint of the user, IRCTC has made two tweets through its Twitter handle. In its first tweet, IRCTC wrote, “Users are requested not to respond to any link or suspicious calls as it may result in financial fraud with users using UPI handles. By some Twitter followers. Those IRCTC users are being targeted on Twitter who are asking questions regarding booking and refund.


Apart from this, IRCTC has written in its second tweet that, “Such people call from different numbers and send some links to the customers. The whole refund process is fully automatic. Any kind of human intervention in the refund process of IRCTC. is not included. Please do not respond to such links or calls.”
