On this occasion, Goyal said that the government is trying to ensure that everyday items are made available to the common people at affordable rates.

In the first phase, Food Corporation of India (FCI) along with two cooperative societies, National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Limited (NAFED) and National Cooperative Consumer Federation of India (NCCF) will provide 5 lakh tonnes of rice to retail central stores. Will be done.

Sale of Bharat Rice has been started under Bharat Brand. You can buy this rice at the price of only Rs 29 per kg. This rice is available in 5 and 10kg packs. You can also buy Bharat Rice from mobile van. The government’s efforts have already helped in bringing down the prices of tomato and onion sharply. Goyal said that the government is providing everyday essentials at affordable rates. He also flagged off 100 mobile vans that will sell ‘Bharat Chawal’. Along with this, five kg packs were also distributed to 5 beneficiaries.


Bharat flour at Rs 27.50 per kg

The Central Government had launched ‘Bharat Atta’ at the rate of Rs 27.50 per kg. Union Minister Piyush Goyal launched this brand in Delhi on 6 November. This ‘Bharat Atta’ is available in packs of 10 and 30 kg. It is also being sold through NAFED, NCCF, Safal, Mother Dairy and other cooperative institutions. Bharat Atta was made available at around 2000 retail outlets. For this, 2.5 lakh metric tonnes of wheat has been provided to government agencies.
