The last date for linking Aadhaar number with PF accounts and UAN number by EPFO is 1 September 2021 (EPF-Aadhaar Linking Deadline Extended). Earlier its last date (EPF-Aadhaar Linking Deadline) was 1st June 2021. If you too have not linked your Aadhar number to PF accounts and UAN account till now due to any reason, then hurry up.
Hurry up or there may be trouble
If you have not linked Aadhar number with PF accounts and UAN number, then do it immediately or else you may have to face problems. It is worth noting that the government had extended the last date for linking Aadhaar and PAN even earlier. Earlier, EPFO had set a deadline of June 1, 2021 for this work.
PF return receipt date extended
According to the order issued by EPFO, the last date for filing receipt of PF return with Aadhaar verified UAN is extended to September 1, 2021. The Ministry of Labor and Employment had issued a notification on May 3, in which it has been said that under the Social Security Code, Aadhaar number should be taken from the beneficiaries. Only after this EPFO extended the deadline.
