There is good news for the personnel posted in the UP State Road Transport Corporation. In the board meeting convened at the corporation headquarters on Wednesday, the corporation employees got approval for 11 percent dearness allowance. In such a situation, now it has been decided to get 28 percent DA by adding 17 percent dearness allowance to roadways workers.
Roadways Employees Joint Council General Secretary Girish Chand Mishra said that according to the agreement of the Principal Secretary Transport with the Council on December 14, 11 percent dearness allowance has been approved by the Board of Directors of the Corporation. Now this proposal will be approved by the Empowered Committee after going to the government.
After this, the DA installment will be added to the salary and the workers will get it. About 22 thousand employees will benefit from this decision. On this decision, Union General Secretary Ramakant Sachan, Senior State Vice President Rakesh Kumar Singh and State Deputy General Secretary Arun Bhanu Tiwari and State Media In-charge Rajnish Mishra have expressed happiness and congratulated Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh.
