Union Minister Jitendra Singh has recently shared this information. According to Singh, work is being done in this regard after the special initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Union Minister Jitendra Singh said that this decision will give better financial condition to the differently-abled who require more medical care and financial assistance. Singh said that the Government is of the view that the income criteria for eligibility of family pension, as applicable in the case of other members of the family, may not be applicable in the case of children with disabilities or siblings.
According to the Union Minister, the government reviewed the criteria for family pension-linked income in the case of a disabled child or sibling and during this it also came to the notice that the criteria for pension-linked income in the case of a disabled child or sibling , in their case will be commensurate with the eligible amount of family pension.
