An electric vehicle company has launched Atum 1.0 electric motorcycle, thus making its debut in the electronic vehicle industry. The bike has been priced at Rs. 50,000 only.

New Electric Vehicle Launched :-



An electric vehicle startup based out of Hyderabad, Atumobile Pvt Ltd., has launched a new homegrown electric motorcycle, Atum 1.0 electric motorcycle at Rs. 50,000.

The company has designed the engine themselves from scratch and is completely proprietary.

This is an electric bike that will run at a low speed with the top speed capped at 25 kmph. The bike ok has been approved by ICAT (International Centre for Automotive Technology), and is powered by a 250 watt electric motor. Also, this bike does not require a registration or a driving license.



The battery on this electric vehicle is a lightweight portable lithium-ion battery pack that will power the bike to travel for a range of 100 km on a single charge. Also, the battery takes up only less than 4 hours to charge completely.

The bike is available in multiple colours throughout the country via the official website of Atumobile.

Homegrown Design Key Highlight Of Atum 1.0

The battery weighs 6 kg and can be charged anywhere and at any place through a normal three pin socket consuming around 1 unit per charge. This will result in the users of the bike costing a user about Rs. 7-10 for the entire 100 km range.

The battery will come with a warranty of two years.



In addition to that, Atum 1.0 will also offer a completely digital display, including LED headlight, indicators, and taillights.

As per the makers of this motorcycle, the design of the Atum 1.0 will be the key highlight along with other features such as the fat bike tires of 20″ x 4″ dimensions, with adjustable handles as well. The height of the seat is also low, while having a high ground clearance.



The company has announced that the electric bikes will be made in India at the greenfield manufacturing facility in Telangana. The annual production capacity at this site is of 15000 units and can be expanded to 10000 units more.
