Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will launch the sending of 11-11 hundred rupees to the accounts of about two and a half crore people of the state on Saturday. Such people will get this money whose children study in the UP government’s council schools. CM Yogi will transfer money online in a function organized in Lucknow.
Through DBT, students of class 1 to 8 of council schools will be given Rs 1100 for school uniform. Of these, Rs 300 per uniform will be given for two uniforms, Rs 600 for sweater, Rs 200 for sweater, Rs 175 for school bag and Rs 125 for shoes. The feeding of the bank accounts of the parents of the children is almost complete. After the inauguration on Saturday, the money transfer will start in the accounts.
The Basic Education Department had launched the Prerna DBT app in September to send the amount of free uniforms, shoes-socks, sweaters and school bags to the parents’ account. The data of all the parents along with the Aadhar card has been included in it.
Funds are to be given to one crore 80 lakh students of primary and junior schools in the state.
