New Delhi. Telecom company Airtel has made changes in its Pre-Paid Plans to increase the income per subscriber. Under this, there has been a big increase of about 60 percent in the price of the initial plan (Airtel Plans Price). Airtel said that with this increase, it has stopped its initial prepaid recharge of Rs 49. Now Airtel prepaid packs will start with Smart Recharge of Rs 79 and customers will get four times more outgoing minutes with double data.
200 MB data will be available with talk time of ₹ 64
Airtel said that this change is in line with the company’s focus on offering better connectivity solutions, i.e. now users will get the experience of conversation without missing the network. Airtel customers can now stay connected for a long time without worrying about their account balance on the initial recharge. This change will be effective from 29 July 2021. Airtel’s Rs 79 plan comes with Rs 64 talk time, 200 MB data and 28 days validity. This decision of the company is important because all the telecom companies are emphasizing on increasing the Average Revenue Per User (ARPU).
