New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi today launched the digital platform of Ayushman Bharat Scheme through video conferencing. This scheme has been named ‘Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission’.
On August 15, 2020, PM Modi announced this (Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission Benefits) in his speech at the Red Fort on the occasion of Independence Day. At present, it will be started as a pilot project in some states and then gradually it will be started across the country.
Where will you get the benefit of the scheme now?
At present, Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission Details is being started in 6 union territories of the country. On the third anniversary of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY), the National Health Authority (NHA) will launch the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission nationwide.
Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya will also be present on this special occasion of the launch of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission. Under this scheme, you can get yourself free treatment in government and private hospitals as well.
How much will you get health cover
Prime Minister Narendra Modi started Ayushman Bharat (Jan Arogya Yojana) three years ago. Under this scheme, health cover of up to Rs 5 lakh is provided every year i.e. free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh. The most important thing is that many serious diseases like corona virus are also covered under this scheme.
Now under the digital mission of this scheme, a unique health card of the beneficiaries will be made, in which all the information will be present.
Unique health card is of great use
From this unique card, it will be known where someone has been treated. Also, every information related to the health of the person will be recorded in this unique health card. Due to this, the patient will not have to carry the file everywhere with him. The doctor or hospital will be able to know the patient’s condition by seeing the unique health ID of the patient and then further treatment can be started on this basis. With this card, the person will also get to know about the government schemes available to him. Whether the patient gets the benefit of treatment facilities under Ayushman Bharat or not, it will be known through this unique card.
What will happen in unique health card
Like the Aadhar card, under the Unique Health ID, the government will prepare a health-related database of every person. With this ID, all the details will be kept in the medical record of that person. With the help of this ID, the complete medical record of a person can be seen. If that person goes to a doctor, he will show his health ID. It will come to know that what treatment was done before this, which doctors were consulted and which medicines have been administered earlier. Through this facility, the government will also be able to help people in treatment etc.
This thing will be recorded in Health ID
In this, the person’s ID will be generated, mobile number and Aadhaar number will be taken from him. With the help of these two records, a unique health card will be created. For this, the government will form a health authority, which will collect individual data. Permission will be given by the Health Authority to collect the health records of the person whose health ID is to be made.
Further work will be carried out on this basis. A public hospital, community health centre, health and wellness center or a healthcare provider that is affiliated with the National Health Infrastructure Registry can generate a health ID of an individual.
