Big news: Ban on international passenger flights extended by one more month, DGCA issued notification

DGCA has extended the ban on scheduled commercial passenger flights till September 30, 2021.

The central government has said that the ban on international flights will continue till September 30. The Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has extended the ban on flights of international scheduled commercial passenger aircraft to and from India for one more month. Earlier this ban was to end on August 31.



The DGCA has issued an order to increase this ban by amending its circular issued in the month of June, saying that this ban will remain in force till 30 September. According to the circular, this ban will not apply to international cargo operations and special flights approved by the DGCA.

Please tell that due to Corona virus epidemic, regular international passenger airlines have been suspended since March 23 last year. However, under the Vande Bharat Abhiyan and the Air Bubble System, special international flights are allowed to operate from May to certain countries.

45083 new cases of corona in the last 24 hours, 460 died

Significantly, according to the Ministry of Health, 45 thousand 83 new cases of corona infection have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours, while 460 patients have died during this period. In the last 24 hours, 31,265 new cases of corona have been reported in Kerala. After getting new corona patients, now the total number of infected people in the country has gone up to 3 crore 26 lakh 95 thousand 30.



According to the ministry, there are now 3 lakh 68 thousand 558 active cases of corona in the country, while 3 crore 18 lakh 88 thousand 642 people have recovered and gone to their homes. At the same time, 4 lakh 37 thousand 830 people have died due to corona so far. So far 63,09,17,927 people have been vaccinated in the country.
