He informed that apprenticeship fairs will be organized across the country. The educated unemployed and youth will be benefited the most.
The process of apprenticeship will be made easy,
He said, adding that the government will directly transfer the honorarium to the apprentice’s bank account. He said that a digital dashboard would be set up to make the process of apprenticeship easy and effective.
Apprenticeship fair inaugurated at 700 places
Inaugurating the National Apprenticeship Fair at 700 places in the country, the Minister for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship said that in future such fairs would be organized every month. He said that the objective of the entire exercise is to connect more than 10 lakh apprentices with the corporate.
Government will contribute Rs 1500
- Pradhan said, “The Government of India will directly transfer its contribution of Rs 1,500 to the apprentice’s bank account. The company will also transfer the honorarium directly.
- More than 4,000 organizations from over 30 industries including power, retail, telecom, IT/ITES, electronics and vehicles participated in the event.
- Persons having 5th to 12th pass, skill training certificate, ITI diploma or graduate degree could participate in PM Apprentice Fair.
