Whether it is in public interest to retain an employee above 50 in government service or not. Their efficiency or conduct is not such that it is not justice to keep them in service. If efficiency and conduct do not improve, they will be given compulsory retirement. The Rural Development Department has constituted a committee to check the efficiency of the employees. Due to the formation of the committee, there has been a panic among the employees above 50.





Separate committees have been formed for Group A, B and C level personnel. In the committee of Group A, the Principal Secretary-Secretary of the Department has been made the President. There will be Special Secretary, Joint Secretary, Administrative Officer – Establishment and Assistant Members. For Group B, the Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary will be the Chairman. Deputy Secretary, Under Secretary and Assistant will be the members. Similarly, for Group C, a committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Joint Secretary. Deputy Secretary, Under Secretary and Assistant will be its members.





The cases of government servants who are going to be more than 50 years of age in July to December of any year will be reviewed by the committee in the month of June of the same year. The cases of government servants who are going to be more than 50 years of age in January to June of any year will be reviewed in December of the previous year.
