7th Pay Commission: The wait for central employees is over. Eventually their Dearness Allowance (DA) will be paid. More than one crore central employees and pensioners will get double gift. The DA, which was frozen last year, is being restored from July. But, its payment will not come in the salary of July. Rather Dearness allowance will be given in the salary for the month of September. The National Council of JCM (Staff side) has issued a letter regarding this. Zee Business has a copy of this letter.
Decisions taken in the meeting of 26 June
According to the letter issued by JCM Secretary Shiv Gopal Mishra, the meeting with the Cabinet Secretary on June 26, 2021 has been very positive. In this meeting, many big decisions were taken in the interest of Central Government employees. The biggest decision was taken regarding the dearness allowance (DA) pending for 18 months. The government has restored DA from July itself. However, the last three installments will not be paid in July.
The benefit of arrears with three installments
According to Shiv Gopal Mishra, the Cabinet Secretary agreed to lift the ban on DA and DR. Now Dearness allowance news in Hindi for January 2020, June 2020 and January 2021 of central employees (Kendriye karamchariyo ka paisa) and pensioners will be available together. All three installments will come with the salary for the month of September. Apart from this, the Dearness Allowance figures for June 2021 to be released in July 2021 (June 2021 me DA kitna bhadega) will also be added. In total, three old installments and one June 2021 installment will be paid. The special thing is that along with the salary in September, the government will also give the arrears of July 2021 and August 2021.
DA will be 31%
Central employees are currently getting 17 percent DA. But, by adding the last three installments, it will now become 28 percent. DA was increased by 4 per cent in January 2020, then by 3 per cent in June 2020 and by 4 per cent in January 2021. Now these three installments have to be paid. But, in the meantime, the data of dearness allowance for June 2021 is also to come. This data will be released in July. If sources are to be believed, there is going to be a 3 percent increase in dearness allowance in June 2021 under the 7th Pay Commission. In such a situation, the total DA will increase to 31 percent. 31 percent will be paid with the salary of September.
