government has set a time limit of 15 years for petrol vehicles and 20 years for diesel vehicles. Recently, in the new Vehicle Scrappage Policy of the Center, new policies have been made to include petrol and diesel-run vehicles in the junk. According to the policy, 15 and 20 year old vehicles of petrol and diesel will be scrapped. Commercial vehicle will be thrown into junk after 15 years and private car after 20 years.
