DGCA Action on Airlines: In view of the continuous technical glitches in the aircraft of Indian airlines in the last few days, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) is looking strict and has directed the airlines to file a reply in 10 days. Aviation Safety Regulator DGCA did spot checking and many deficiencies were seen in the planes. Let us inform that in the last 1 month, incidents of malfunctioning of 8 SpiceJet aircraft have come to the fore. Apart from this, there has also been a malfunction in the Indigo flight, after which an emergency landing had to be made.
DGCA gave strict instructions
After officials of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) noticed deficiencies in several flights during spot checking, the agency has issued new instructions and said that the rules set before every flight will have to be followed. The DGCA has said that aircraft of any airline should be allowed to take off from the base or airport only if the licensed staff of that organization has given approval regarding its safety.
DGCA gave time till July 28
According to the Indian Express report, the DGCA has given the airlines 10 days time to take strict steps and said that the compliance of its order should be started by 28 July. Let us inform that during the spot checking of DGCA officials, there has been a shortage of minimum equipment in the flights and at many places, there has been a shortage in the security clearance staff before the flight takes off.
Jyotiraditya Scindia held an important meeting on security issues
Earlier, Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia held a meeting on security issues with senior officials of his ministry and DGCA on Sunday in view of several incidents of technical glitches in aircraft of Indian airlines. During the meeting, Jyotiraditya Scindia took detailed information from the officials about the technical glitches in the planes in the last one month and told them that the safety of the passengers should not be compromised.
