Indian Bank Association has issued its order. According to Brijeshwar Sharma, Senior Advisor, HR Department, the benefit of this increase will be given to those pensioners or their dependents who have retired from the government bank before January 1, 1986. Along with this, dearness relief has also been increased for the pensioners coming under the Bank Employees Pension Regulations, 1995.

According to Brijeshwar Sharma, inflation relief has been increased after the data of All India Average Consumer Price Index (AICPI) came out. In this, the figures of AICPI-IW for October, November and December 2021 are 8210.75, 8264.34 and 8243.62 respectively. On this basis, dearness relief for February to July has been increased.
