PM Kisan e-KYC: The government has extended the deadline for eKYC to take advantage of PM Kisan Yojana. According to the notification given on the official website, farmers can now get their eKYC done till May 31, 2022.
new Delhi. PM Kisan: There is a relief news for more than 2 crore 53 lakh farmers waiting for the 11th installment of PM Kisan Yojana. The Central Government has extended the deadline for eKYC to take advantage of PM Kisan Yojana. According to the notification given on the official website of PM Kisan Portal, farmers can now get their eKYC done till May 31, 2022. Earlier it was increased from 31 March to 22 May 2022.
eKYC is mandatory
Farmers get the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana every year. Under the scheme, 6 thousand are given in the account of farmers. After every 4 months, 2 thousand rupees are transferred in the account of the farmers, after which the farmers are waiting for the 11th installment. Till now 10 installments of this scheme have reached the farmers’ account. The central government has made eKYC mandatory to get the benefits of the scheme.
Update e-KYC like this
Farmers can update e-KYC even sitting at home. First of all go to PM Kisan website. Here the eKYC option will appear on the right side of the homepage. Click on it. Then enter your Aadhar card number. Also enter the captcha code and click on the search option. Enter mobile number linked with Aadhar card.
Now an OTP will come on your mobile number, write it. With this, your Aadhaar will be linked and the details will be updated. If there is an error on entering the OTP, then you can update your biometric by visiting the CSC center.
Check your name in the list like this
1. For this, first you go to the official website of PM Kisan Yojana https://pmkisan.gov.in .
2. Now on its homepage you will see the option of Farmers Corner.
3. Within the Farmers Corner section, click on the Beneficiaries List option.
4. Now you select the State, District, Sub District, Block and Village from the drop down list.
5. After this you click on ‘Get Report’.
6. After this the complete list of beneficiaries will appear, in which you can check your name.
