The country’s largest government bank SBI makes every effort to provide good facilities to its customers. In this episode, State Bank of India has made a very important appeal to its customers. SBI has asked its account holders to link PAN with Aadhaar card (PAN-Aadhaar card link) as soon as possible. Customers have until 30 September to link it. According to the bank, if a customer does not do this work by September 30, then his banking service may be interrupted i.e. may be closed.

1) To link, first open the Income Tax e-filing portal https://incometax.gov.in.
2) ‘Link Aadhaar’ will appear in the Quick Links section on the homepage.
3) In the ‘Link Aadhaar’ section, click on the option ‘Know your Aadhaar-PAN link status’.
4) It will take you to a new window. Enter your PAN and Aadhar card details in this box.
5) After filing the details, click on ‘View Link Aadhaar Status’.
