The government has now decided to increase the dearness allowance to the state employees. Approval of Chief Minister’s Health Assistance Scheme was given. In which ST, SC and OBC category have been included.Â
Also, it was decided in the meeting that free books would be given to the students up to class 10. In the meeting, the government decided to give cycles to the general category students of government schools as well. Till now it is given only to ST category students. The government will now give cycles by not giving money. The government has approved extension of tenure to part-time teachers in residential schools and salary during lockdown. This decision was approved in the cabinet meeting held today.
A total of 37 proposals were approved in the cabinet meeting today. 31 crore sanctioned for Govindpur-Dumka road in the meeting. This road has been one of the much awaited demands. Along with this, an approval of Rs 44 crore has been given for Jharia-Baliyapur road. In the meeting, the proposal for amendment in section 17 of GST was approved.
In the meeting, the cabinet has approved the expenditure of 6 billion rupees spent in Kovid Phase-2. This has been done after the approval of the Centre. Mafatlal was given 6 months’ work for the Sona Sobran dhoti-sari. Under this, 64 lakh families of Jharkhand will get direct benefits. In the meeting, approval was given to withdraw 4 crore from Jharkhand Contingency Fund.
Approval was given to the proposal for amendment in the Panchayati Raj Development Plan Rules. Altogether 14 rules were changed.
