The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has issued a circular saying that all scheduled international commercial passenger flights will remain suspended till 31 October 2021.





New Delhi. The pace of spreading of the corona virus has decreased, but it has not stopped completely yet. Keeping this in mind, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has decided to extend the ban on all scheduled international commercial passenger flights till 31 October 2021. DGCA has issued a circular saying that the ban on international cargo operations and flights will not be applicable. In this also, there will be no special restriction on such flights approved by DGCA.

Which international flights will be approved
DGCA has said that scheduled international flights can also be approved on selected routes by the concerned authority. DGCA has issued a new circular by modifying the circular dated 26 June. It has also been said that the new circular will be considered valid till 11.59 pm on 31 October 2021. Last month, DGCA extended the ban on scheduled international commercial passenger flights till 30 September 2021. Meanwhile, today after 201 days, the number of new corona positive cases in the country has remained below 20 thousand. Today, after the arrival of 18,795 new cases across the country, the total number of corona patients has increased to 3,36,97,581.





Covid-19 recovery rate of 97.81 percent
There are currently 2,92,206 active cases in the country, which is the lowest in the last 192 days. In the last 24 hours, the death toll due to infection stood at 179, taking the total number of dead in the country to 4,47,373. The Health Ministry said that the national Kovid-19 recovery rate has reached 97.81 percent, which is the highest since March 2020. In the last 24 hours, the number of active cases has decreased by 7,414 patients. For the last 93 days, less than 50 thousand new cases have been reported in the country every day. The ministry said that on Monday, September 27, a total of 13,21,780 corona tests were done. So far a total of 56,57,30,031 corona tests have been done in the country.
