Applicants can visit the portal and find trusted Electric Vehicle (EV) chargers that have been listed by the government. They can compare the prices of these chargers and order them online or through a phone call. The single-window portal allows the applicant to schedule the installation as per his/her convenience. They can avail subsidy of up to Rs 6,000 for a lightweight EV charger and pay the rest amount (Rs 2,500). According to Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot, the cost of the charger will come down by 70 percent due to the subsidy.

space The space requirement for the installation of the EV charger is minimal. Requires only one square foot for LEV AC and two square feet for AC 001, DC-001 can be installed on a land of two square meter area and two meter height. That is, for AC 001 charger, work will be done in 2 feet space. To install the DC-001 charger, the space required is 2 square meters and the height should be 2 meters. Light EV charger and AC 001 charger will be fitted on the walls. For the first time in the country, the Delhi government is going to install a verified LEV charger from the Bureau of Standards.
