SBI has informed its account holders to link PAN-Aadhaar card by 30 September. If customers do not do this then they may face difficulty in banking service.
New Delhi: The country’s largest public sector bank State Bank of India (SBI) has alerted its customers. Actually, the bank has given notice to its account holders to link PAN-Aadhaar card before 30 September. The bank has said that if customers do not do this then they will have to face difficulty in banking service. SBI has also tweeted for this.
Opportunity till 30th September
SBI said on its official website, ‘We advise our customers to link their PAN with Aadhaar to avoid any inconvenience and continue to enjoy a seamless banking service. Along with this, the bank said that it is mandatory to link PAN with Aadhaar. If PAN and Aadhaar are not linked, PAN will become inactive and PAN cannot be used for carrying out specified transactions. The last date for linking PAN with Aadhaar is September 30, 2021.

Let us inform that last month, the Central Government had extended the deadline for linking PAN with Aadhaar till September 30 in view of the corona virus epidemic. Earlier this deadline was set as March 31, but later it was revised to June 30.
How to link PAN-Aadhaar card
First way
1- First you go to the official website of Income Tax https://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/home
2- Here on the left side you will see the option of Link Aadhaar, click on it
3- A new page will open, Where you have to fill PAN, AADHAAR and your name as mentioned in Aadhaar
4- If only year of birth is there in your Aadhaar card then tick the box of ‘I have only year of birth in aadhaar card’
5- captcha code Enter or tick for OTP
6- Click on the button of Link Aadhaar, that’s all you have to link PAN and Aadhaar
Another way
– You can also link PAN and Aadhaar through SMS
– In the message box of mobile type – UIDPAN<12-digit Aadhaar><10-digit PAN>
– Send this message to 567678 or 56161, that’s it work done
