The bank has given information about this by tweeting. Actually, Allahabad Bank merged with Indian Bank, due to which the IFSC codes have changed from today. Your old codes will not work from now on.
Let me tell you that on 1 April 2020, Allahabad Bank merged with Indian Bank. Bank customers can find out their new IFSC code in many ways. Let us tell you how –

We request you to take note of the important changes effective from 15 February 2021. Will help us serve you better.

Apart from this, the bank has suggested to customers that they should use only IFSC code of Indian Bank for payment (RTGS, NEFT and IMPS) starting from 15 February 2021 and beyond ‘IDIB’….
