Approval order has been issued. But the state government is giving 17% dearness allowance to its 4,06,727 employees and officers as on July 1, 2021 and 12% dearness relief to about 1.25 lakh pensioners. Which is not fair. It is worth noting that the employees and officers of the state are getting 14% less dearness allowance as compared to the centre. which is part of the salary.
Officials say that from January 1, 2016, the central employees are getting house rent allowance at the revised rate on the basic pay of the seventh pay scale. Whereas even today the employees of the state are being given house rent allowance at the old rate on the basic pay of the sixth pay scale. which is unique.
He said that from the 5th pay scale (Madhya Pradesh Pay Revision Rules 1998, effective 1/1/1996), the teacher cadre was not sanctioned the same pay scale as the center.
