New Delhi. There is good news for the members of Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO). It is believed that EPFO members are going to get interest on PF soon. EPFO can transfer PF interest to account before Diwali. Let us tell you that 6.5 crore subscribers of EPFO are waiting for PF interest. In such a situation, before Diwali, they can get a big gift from the government.
According to media reports, officials told that when dearness allowance will come in the accounts of employees and pensioners from the government and at the same time EPFO interest is also going to be transferred to the accounts.
Government approval will
tell you that the EPFO’s Central Board has decided to pay 8.5% interest. EPFO has sought the approval of the Finance Ministry on 8.5% interest. Now it is expected that soon it will be approved by the government. As soon as the EPFO is approved by the Finance Ministry at 8.5% interest for the fiscal year 2020-2021, it will transfer money to the accounts of employees and pensioners. It is expected that this money will come by Diwali.
How to Check PF Balance (How to check my PF Balance?)
1. Via SMS- If your UAN number is registered with EPFO, then your PF balance information will be received through message. For this, you have to send EPFOHO to 7738299899. The information about your PF will be received through the message. If you want information in Hindi language, then you have to send it by writing EPFOHO UAN. This service to know PF balance is available in English, Punjabi, Marathi, Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Bengali. For PF balance, it is necessary that your UAN, bank account, PAN (PAN) and Aadhaar (AADHAR) Must be linked to.
2. Know Balance by Missed Call- You have to give a missed call on 011-22901406 from your registered mobile number. After this, the details of PF will be available through the message of EPFO. Here also it is necessary to have your UAN, PAN and Aadhaar linked.
3. Via Website- Visit the EPF Passbook Portal to check your balance online. Log in to this portal using your UAN and password. In this, click on Download / View Passbook and then the passbook will open in front of you in which you can see the balance.
