The distribution of free food grains was to be done by November 15, the date of which has been extended to November 17. Card holders can get free ration on ration card by showing Aadhar from the concerned fair rate vendor. Ruckus in Pratapgarh:
Due to non-distribution of ration in Karaundi Jhargo village situated on the border of Pratapgarh Nagar Kotwali and Antu police station, there was such a ruckus that the police had to be called by the Kotdar. After wandering till evening, the villagers returned without ration. Villagers of Karaundi Jhargo village said that earlier they used to get ration from the entire quota of Madhav Singh. But later it was attached to the quota of Gadai village. But last month there was a dispute that Karaundi Jhargo village has come to the municipality, so he will now get ration from the municipality.
Distressed by this, the villagers appealed to the SDM and the Municipality President, then it was decided that on November 15, Kotdar would distribute ration on the school of Karaundi village. On Monday, the villagers reached the school to get ration. Villagers say that after a long time, the Kotdar said that first the thumb will be put on the machine, after that the ration will come.
