new Delhi. Ticket Booking Services of Indian Railways will be closed for some time on Saturday. Indian railways ticket booking, 139 services and other services will be closed for a few hours from the night of 13 June. Railways said that PRD inquiry service will be temporarily closed for 3 hours 30 minutes midnight of 13/14 June. This service will be temporarily closed from 11.45 pm on 13 June 2020 till 03.15 am on 14.06.2020. Railways has stated that due to operating system patch installation and system tuning activity work, Delhi PRS. All services will not work.

Timing and date of train can be changed even after ticket booking

To avail this facility, you have to go to the station counter. You can change the travel date only once on a ticket. You will have to surrender your ticket at the reservation counter. Date can be changed two days before departure.
This facility can be availed on booked confirmation, RAC (Reservation Against Cancellation) and waiting tickets. Not only this, even after having a ticket to a designated station, the journey can be extended to further stations.
