The central government is considering re-issuing tourist visas to foreigners who have been suspended due to the outbreak of Corona worldwide.
New Delhi: Due to Corona infection worldwide, the central government is thinking of re-granting closure visas for foreigners to tourists. This is necessary to strengthen the economy and get foreign exchange, a Union Home Ministry official said.
From March 2020, India has stopped granting tourism visas to foreign nationals. Eight to nine lakh foreign tourists visit India every month. Has stopped coming for a year and a half. Its tourism business has been badly affected. Because of this many people have lost their jobs. India expects other countries to start issuing tourist visas again. This will reduce the crisis of tourism companies in the country. A meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Union Home Secretary.
