The United Arab Emirates has announced new travel restrictions for its citizens who are not vaccinated. According to the new rules coming into force from January 10, now there will be a ban on the travel of people who have not taken the vaccine, along with it it has also been made mandatory for people who have taken both the doses of the vaccine to take a booster dose for travel.
However, this Arab country will allow travel to those who cannot take the corona vaccine due to medical reasons, those traveling due to humanitarian cases and medical reasons will also get this exemption.
This travel ban has been taken due to the rapid increase in corona cases. The Omicron variant of Corona is reporting the highest number of cases in Europe and America. Hundreds of flights have also been canceled around the world due to the increase in cases and hospitalizations.
On Saturday, 2 thousand 556 new cases of corona virus were reported in UAE. At the same time, a total of 2 thousand 165 people have lost their lives due to infection in the country.
Let us inform that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also postponed his UAE tour to be held this month in view of the increase in Corona cases. Although no formal announcement was made from both the countries regarding this visit, but it was believed that PM Modi can visit UAE on 5-6 January.
