Complete these tasks before the New Year, otherwise you may get into trouble.

There are many of these tasks which you will have to complete before December 31, 2024. Otherwise your UPI ID and Gmail may be closed. Complete these tasks before the New Year, otherwise you may get into trouble.

These Gmail accounts will be closed

If you have not used your Gmail account for a year or two, then your Google Gmail account may be closed. This rule of Google will be applicable only on personal accounts. This rule will not apply to business accounts. If you have not logged in to your old Gmail account for a long time, then login and activate it.

New SIM card rules will be applicable

The rules for getting UPI SIM card will change from the new year. The government is implementing new rules. Now when getting a new SIM, biometric details will have to be given. This bill has been passed by Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha. Now it has to be implemented.

Have to sign bank locker agreement

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has asked all banks to get their customers to sign the new agreement for bank lockers. The bank has to complete this work by December 31. If you also have a bank locker in any branch, then go there and sign your new bank locker agreement. Otherwise you may face problems later.

Offers on SBI home loan rates

State Bank of India (SBI) is the largest public sector bank in the country. Currently, the bank is offering home loans to its customers at the rate of 8.40 percent per annum with a processing fee of 0.17 percent. Festive offer is going on on SBI home loan. In this, customers are being given a discount of 65 basis points i.e. 0.65 percent on home loan. This discount is applicable on Regular Home Loan, Flexipay, NRI, Salary Class. You can avail this discount of SBI till 31 December 2023.

Bank of Baroda’s Festive Offer (BOB Festive Offer)

Bank of Baroda (BOB) has started ‘BOB Ke Sang Festival Ki Umang’ campaign for its customers. This special campaign of Bank of Baroda will run till 31 December 2023. Under this campaign, the bank has launched festive offers on home loan, personal loan, car loan and education loan at very attractive interest rates.

New rules for HDFC Bank card regalia

HDFC Bank has changed some rules of its Regalia Credit Card. These rules are regarding lounge use of the card. To get lounge access from December 1, certain conditions must be fulfilled. Now any Regalia credit card will be able to access the lounge only on spend basis. To avail lounge access, credit card users will have to spend Rs 1 lakh or more in a calendar quarter (January-March, April-June, July-September, October-December).

UPI ID will be closed after 31 December 2023

The UPI IDs which are not active from December 31, 2023, will be closed. If you also have any UPI ID which you have not used in the last one year, then activate it. That is, complete the transaction using that ID. However, before de-activating the UPI ID, the bank will send you a notification through e-mail or message. You will also know about the status of your UPI ID.
