The Personnel Department has cleared the situation regarding regularization of daily wages and contract workers. While issuing the mandate on Thursday, Additional Chief Secretary Personnel Dr.
Devesh Chaturvedi has said that on or before December 31, 2001, only the workers engaged in daily wages or work charge or contract on Group C and Group D posts come under the purview of eligibility. . Discussions were going on for a few days that the contractual and daily wage workers would be regularised.
In this regard, the list is being prepared at the departmental level. There was confusion about this. Some departments had requested the Personnel Department to clarify the situation regarding this. On the basis of this, the personnel department has made it clear that which employees are eligible to be permanent.
The Personnel Department has issued a mandate in this regard to all the Additional Chief Secretaries, all the Heads of Departments, Divisional Commissioners and District Magistrates. It has become clear that for which period the personnel will be regularized and which will not.
