According to the Axis Bank website, from August 12, 2021, there will be no capping on cashback received through Axis Bank FreeCharge Credit Card.
Axis Bank has launched a credit card called Axis Bank FreeCharge Credit Card in association with payment app FreeCharge. If you have this credit card then you get many rewards on it. Till now there were some rules on this like how much benefit you can get monthly or can earn reward. Now a new update has come in it. Let us know about it.
No capping on cashback from August 12
According to the Axis Bank website, from August 12, 2021, there will be no capping on cashback received through Axis Bank FreeCharge Credit Card. Meaning you can get unlimited cashback in one billing cycle. Cashback earned in the current billing cycle is credited to the credit card account 3 days before the next billing date. Transactions done between July 12 and August 12, 2021 will be eligible for unlimited cashback. Let us tell you that till now, through this credit, you could earn a maximum cashback of Rs 500 in one billing cycle. That is, it was beneficial only once in a month.

>> 5% Unlimited Cashback on spends across categories (Mobile Recharge, Bill Payment, Bus Booking, DTH Recharge etc.) on FreeCharge App.
>> 2% Unlimited Cashback on Local Commutes like Ola, Uber, Shuttle.
>> Unlimited Cashback of 1% on all other transactions.
>> No cashback on any cash withdrawal, purchase of any gold item or gold jewellery, wallet load, fuel transaction, gift card, rent payment or EMI.
>> Axis Bank FreeCharge Credit Card can be used at all merchant outlets that accept Visa cards.
>> This card is equipped with contactless technology, which also provides the facility of ‘Tap and Pay’ to the customers i.e. payment can be made by simply tapping on the POS machine without swiping the card.
Card charges
>> The first year joining fee of this card is Rs 350.
>> The annual fee of this card is Rs 350. However, the annual fee will be waived for spending Rs 50,000 in a year.
