The Soren government of Jharkhand has given a big relief to the pensioners. Now it will not be mandatory to have a ration card to get Widow Pension (IGNWPS). This has been announced by Chief Minister Hemant Soren himself. He has clearly said that ration card will no longer be needed to get widow pension. The government will provide pension to helpless widows.
In fact, Chief Minister Hemant Soren had arrived in Godda district to inaugurate schemes worth Rs 34.58 crore and lay the foundation stone for several projects, where he announced that there would be no need for ration cards etc. for widow pension. The widows who are helpless will be provided the benefits of government schemes and pension from the Jharkhand government.
Apart from this, the CM said that school children will get eggs six days a week in the mid-day meal. While warning the same officers, he said that those officers who do not listen to the public have no right to be in government service. Our government will show them the way out
