The Aadhaar (Authentication and Offline Verification) Rules-2021 have been notified on November 8 and published on the official website on Tuesday.

New Delhi: People can now do their Aadhaar Verification offline. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has allowed this. This can be done by sharing a digital signature document generated by UIDAI. The document will contain the last four digits of the Aadhaar Card number given to the holder. The new law, issued by the government, contains information on this.
The Aadhaar (Authentication and Offline Verification) Rules-2021 have been notified on November 8 and published on the official website on Tuesday. It has created a comprehensive process to enable offline verification of Aadhaar for the E-KYC process (know your customers).
In addition to the current system on UIDAI Aadhaar online verification, UIDAI QR code verification, Aadhaar paperless offline E-KYC verification, e-Aadhaar verification, offline paper based verification and any other offline verification provided by the authorities from time to time are included.
