The process has also been expedited for the same honorarium payment. It is believed that the amount of honorarium will be sent to the cook laborer’s account in 2 days.
It is to be known that cook labor has been deployed for mid-day meal in 2050 schools in the district. Whose number is 4902. Till now, the same cook laborer was getting Rs 1500 per month as honorarium, but in the past, giving big relief, the Uttar Pradesh government announced an increase of 500 rupees in their honorarium. After which now their honorarium has increased to ₹ 2000.
Earlier, such laborers were not paid the honorarium for the months of January, February and March . which was demanded by the employee. Now the state government has fulfilled their demand and has provided a lump sum amount of 3 months to the district.
In this case, MDM in-charge Satya Prakash Maurya says that for the month of March, the honorarium will be paid to the cooks at the rate of Rs 1500 only. However, from the month of April, they will be given an increased honorarium of ₹ 2000. The process has been completed by the BSA office for the same honorarium payment.
