The pension was stopped from the month of May 2022. Due to which the beneficiaries from across the district got upset and were also forced to protest. Social Welfare Officer was also transferred. Taking the matter seriously, the Deputy Commissioner directed for early resolution. After which the data of the beneficiaries got verified from the employees of Municipal Corporation Yamunanagar, Anganwadi worker, Village Secretary, Patwari etc. through Commissioner Municipal Corporation Yamunanagar, District Revenue Officer, All Block Development and Panchayat Officer, District Program Officer, Women and Child Development Yamunanagar .

In the survey and verification conducted by the department, it was revealed that out of the total withheld pension, 2576 beneficiaries have died. 438 beneficiaries are ex servicemen and 17 are retired. At the same time, 2316 beneficiaries were not eligible due to NAT traceable and some other reasons. At the same time, out of the total, the pension of 30069 beneficiaries will be sent to their bank accounts by the District Social Welfare Department within a week.
