The state employees of Uttarakhand can get the benefit of increased 3% DA along with this month’s salary. It is being prepared by the Finance Department. However, a decision in this regard has to be taken at the cabinet or higher level.
The Central Government has increased the DA of its employees by three percent. Since then the employees of the state are also in the hope of increasing the DA.
Earlier the employees were assuming that they would be paid the increased 3% DA along with the Diwali bonus. But in view of the financial condition of the state, the steps of the government were stagnant about the DA at that time. But as the elections are near, the government is not in a position to postpone the demand for DA for a long time.
In view of this, now a proposal is being prepared with reference to the increased 3% DA to the employees. Sources in the Finance Department said that the expectation is that the government should pay DA to the employees along with this month’s salary. It is being told that a decision will be taken regarding the payment of DA in the cabinet meeting to be held in the near future or at the level of the Chief Minister.
