It also adds to many other perks. According to JCM Secretary (Staff Side) Shiv Gopal Mishra, the government will have to pay dearness allowance and other allowances. However, there is still time for the formation of the 8th Pay Commission. If the government backs off from this or some new parameters are adopted, then the central and state employees will go on an indefinite strike.
Will have to wait till the year 2024
The JCM Council Level-2 of the Ministry of Defense and the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh are confident that the Central Government will constitute the 8th Pay Commission on time. There is still time for recommendations. Similarly, the time to implement it is till 2026. Before that we have to wait for the year 2024. DA/DR set to increase by 4%
More than 48 lakh central government employees and 63 lakh pensioners are relieved that their dearness allowance and dearness relief is going to increase soon.
