Yamaha sales rose 17 percent in September. Yamaha said it sold 63,052 bikes in September (up 17 percent) compared to August this year (53,727 units). Sales of Yamaha bikes have been steadily rising since July, when the central government allowed industrial operations in the name of unlocks. Compared to July 2019 .. Yamaha sales in July this year increased by 4.3 percent. The company had sold 47,918 units in July 2019, compared to 49,989 units in July this year. This trend continued into August. In August last year, 52,076 Yamaha bikes were sold, compared to 60,505 this year.

September saw an increase in bike sales, as did August. However, experts say that sales are likely to increase further this month. In the 150-155cc segment Yamaha offers YZF-R15 3.0 version, Yamaha MT-15, Yamaha FZ-S F1. In the 250cc segment, Yamaha FZS 25 models are available and selling hot cakes. Along with Yamaha, sales of Hero MotoCorp, Honda Motorcycles and Bajaj Auto rose while sales of TVS Motors declined by -0.5 per cent.
