Surendra Mishra Bhind, who lives in Shatabhapuram area of Maharajpura police station in Gwalior, was a senior BJP leader. Mishra was the president of the Goer Khurd Society in Bhind district. In Bhind, the daughter of Surendra’s brother-in-law was married, in which the whole family was preparing for going on Sunday. Surendra Mishra was cleaning his gun to take it to the wedding. Mishra was cleaning the rifle on the upper floor of the house. Meanwhile, the trigger of the gun accidentally hit and the bullet touched Mishra’s stomach and went straight into the chest. As soon as the bullet hit Mishra’s blood, he fell on the ground.
Son and wife heard voice
Hearing the sound of firing, Mishra’s son and wife reached the first floor. Where Surendra Mishra was injured in the room. The family took him to the hospital, where the doctors, after seeing the critical condition, referred him to Jairogya Hospital. Mishra died after 3 hours of treatment.

Did not know the rifle was loaded,
Maharajpura police reached the spot soon after receiving the news, the police took the license rifle in its possession, in which a cartridge and was stuck. Family members said that 2 cartridges were stuck in a 12 bore rifle. Mishra was not aware of the rifle being loaded. Maharajpura police has started investigating the case.
