Rajiv (name changed), 38, a resident of Navi Mumbai, complained of breathlessness on 4 July. His family took him to the nearest private hospital. He had to put him on oxygen support immediately. After this, the doctors said that Rajiv has to be given a dose of Remedesvir. They are to be given a dose of 200 mg on the first day and 100 mg on the next 4 days. Also told that the stock of Remedesiveer in the hospital is over. They have to bring this medicine from the market.

Rajiv’s family’s trouble started at Rs 30,000 in the black market . The hospital or distributor he went to got the same answer that the medicine is over and they will have to wait 4-5 days. At the same time, in the black market, they were being asked for 30,000 rupees of 100 mg of Vial, which was about 6 times the retail price of this drug of Hetero. On talking to some influential contacts and directly in the company, he got 2 doses, which was to be finished in the next two days. But not every person has so many contacts that they can contact the company directly and collect the medicine.

Remedesir use not started in BMC hospitals
Except for Seven Hills Hospital in Mumbai, Remedesvir has not been started in hospitals of Bombay Municipal Corporation (BMC) like KEM Hospital, Sion Hospital and Nair Hospital. Please tell that a large number of corona patients are being treated in these hospitals. However, it is being told that BMC has ordered Hetero and all these hospitals are going to get this medicine very soon. The same condition is there in Delhi, the capital of the country. There has also been a shortage of Remedesvir here.

Max Hospital has enough medicines for existing patients
Max Hospital in Delhi said that they have enough stocks of Remedesivir to treat existing patients. At the same time, there was no response from Fortis. Both these hospitals have the largest number of beds available for Kovid-19 patients in private hospitals in Delhi and Mumbai. One person said that on one side there has been shortage of Remedesvir and on the other side the big stock black market has been reached, where it is being sold at high prices. Let us know that there are about 7 lakh corona patients in India.

The approval has been given by the DCGI two weeks ago to allow
Cipla and Hetero to create a generic version of Remdesvir for use in the treatment of Kovid-19 from the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) Weeks have passed. Even after this, the medicine of Cipla has not yet come in the market. At the same time, the initial stock of 20,000 violations introduced by Hetero is about to end. Hetero has received orders from BMC for 15,000 and 42,000 violations from the Tamil Nadu government.
